Why XLynk
Built for uptime
A charger that is down costs you the customer who came to use it. XLynk is built around staying up.
Fixed on site, not replaced
Common service is a faceplate swap with basic hand tools, instead of pulling and replacing the whole unit.
Fits the panel you have
Dynamic local load management shares available power across chargers and can reduce the need for electrical upgrades.
Replacement after eight years
With continuous coverage and no prior replacement, owners qualify for new hardware after eight consecutive years.
Ready for funded projects
Manufactured in New York, so it fits programs with domestic-content requirements.

The vendor
Why Total Tool backs Lynkwell

A charging partner from our own territory
Lynkwell is based in Schenectady, New York, and builds the XLynk there, with engineering, software, network operations and service teams in the United States. It is now part of Nayax.
Lynkwell also offers in-house funding support to find incentive programs, and Total Tool handles the site, the installation and the local service.

- Chargers installed by our own crews
- Activation and ViaLynk setup at handoff
- Financing, and quotes formatted for purchase orders

Common questions
Before you add charging
Is there still a federal tax credit for chargers?
No. The federal 30C credit ended for charging equipment placed in service after June 30, 2026. State and utility programs are now where the funding is.
Do New York utilities still pay for make-ready work?
For cars and light trucks, the New York utility make-ready programs stopped taking new applications in April 2026. The medium- and heavy-duty fleet pilot is still open, and NYSERDA's Charge Ready NY 2.0 still offers Level 2 rebates.
Can programs be combined?
Often, yes. For example, MassEVIP can be combined with utility make-ready funding. Each program has its own rules, so we check how they stack for your site.
Will the charger qualify?
Most programs keep an approved equipment list. We confirm the charger you choose is on the list for each program before anything is ordered.
We are a public agency. How do we buy?
XLynk is available on NY State OGS contract PC70332, Sourcewell and the Purchasing Cooperative of America, and our quotes can be formatted for purchase orders.
How current is the incentive finder?
Programs open, close and change amounts often, so every result links to the official program page and shows the date we last checked. We confirm current availability before you commit.
