Fleet, transit & municipal
Built for the shops that keep everything else moving
Transit garages, highway departments, school bus fleets and trade schools buy equipment differently than a retail shop does. Different vehicles, different duty cycles, and a purchasing process with rules attached.
Who this is for
Public sector and commercial fleet
If your vehicles are bigger than a pickup and your paperwork is more than a credit card, this page is for you.
The procurement side
We have done this paperwork before
The equipment is the easy part. Most of what slows a municipal project down happens before anyone lifts a vehicle.
- Quotes formatted for purchase order requirements
- Bid documentation and equipment specifications
- Site inspection before spec, so the bid reflects the actual building
- Project coordination from quote through startup
- Equipment financing where capital budget is the constraint
- Member, Albany County Highway Association

Equipment
Sized to your heaviest vehicle
A scaled-up car lift is not a heavy duty lift. These are spec'd against your actual axle loads and bay lengths.
Heavy duty lifting
- Rotary heavy duty lifts for truck, bus and transit duty cycles
- Mobile column sets, wireless, for any wheelbase
- In-ground systems where the bay has to stay clear
- Lift King specialty and rail lifts
- Parts elevators (VRC) for multi-level facilities

Facility and shop systems
- Vehicle exhaust extraction, critical in an enclosed garage
- Air compressors and shop air piping
- Lubrication, bulk storage and fluid inventory control
- Waste oil heaters and boilers
- HVLS fans for large bays
- EV charging infrastructure

After the install
Annual compliance, handled
Municipal and fleet facilities get audited. Your lift documentation should already be in the drawer when someone asks for it.
- ALI Certified inspections, light duty through heavy duty
- ANSI/ALI ALOIM compliant, OSHA ready documentation
- Every make of lift in the garage, not only what we sold
- Multiple lifts handled in a single scheduled visit
- Waste oil heater and boiler cleaning before the heating season
ALI CertifiedOur inspectors have passed Automotive Lift Institute testing in lift inspection procedure and in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Common questions
Procurement questions we get
Can you provide a quote our purchasing department will accept?
Yes. Quotes can be formatted to purchase order requirements, with equipment specifications itemized. Tell us what your requisition process needs and we will build it that way rather than making you reformat it. State contracts are available in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Do you work prevailing wage projects?
Prevailing wage jobs are part of our municipal work. Flag it when you request the quote so it is priced correctly from the start rather than revised later.
Can you spec equipment for a bid we are writing?
Yes, and it is worth involving us before the bid is finalized. A site inspection first means the specification matches your building, which avoids change orders after award.
Do you service equipment you did not supply?
Yes. Repairs and ALI inspections cover every make and model of lift in the garage regardless of who sold it.
What if our capital budget will not cover it this year?
Equipment financing is available on all equipment.
