The connected bay
Six machines, one workflow
Hunter builds every step a car takes through the wheel service bay, and the machines share data through WinAlign® and HunterNet® 2. Pick a step to see what does the work.
Step 01 · Inspect
Find the work before the service desk
Customers drive in without stopping. Lasers and cameras read toe, camber and edge-to-edge tread, and the results show up on a Flightboard™ display in the waiting area.
- No labor and no data entry
- No recurring monthly charge
Step 02 · Align
A full alignment check in about a minute
Four high-resolution cameras capture alignment measurements in 70 seconds. The Xpandable configuration comes with the ADASLink® scan tool and upgrades to Ultimate ADAS®.
- QuickGrip® adaptors clamp the tire, not the rim
- Steering system resets built into the workflow
Step 03 · Calibrate
Static and dynamic calibrations in the same bay
Laser-guided target placement replaces strings and tape measures and cuts target setup time by up to 70 percent. Every placement is confirmed and documented.
- Approved by Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, Kia, Rivian and more
- Pre- and post-scans with secure gateway access
Step 04 · Balance
Solve the vibration a standard balancer misses
Road Force® measures what balance alone can't fix, and WalkAway™ inflation releases the chuck and starts the spin on its own.
- Up to 45% faster four-tire changeovers with Revolution™
- MOTOR Top 20 award winner
Step 05 · Mount
Tire changers matched to the wheels you see
Revolution™ is Hunter's flagship changer. Maverick® Pro adds a pick-and-place wheel lift and an under-wheel light for the bottom bead.
- Pairs with WalkAway™ for the fastest changeovers
- Center-clamp, table-top and heavy-duty options
Step 06 · Brakes
Cut rotors on the car, without chatter
Patented Anti-Chatter Technology and a variable-speed drive cut rotors twice as fast as traditional lathes, with a smoother finish.
- Digi-Cal, Standard and Base models
- Cordless option cuts about 40 rotors per charge

Brake lathes
Anti-Chatter TechnologyPatented Anti-Chatter Technology and a variable-speed drive for a smoother finish at speed.
By the numbers
Speed you can measure
Hunter publishes the numbers behind its equipment, so you can hold it to them.
A full alignment check in about a minute
Camber, toe and caster in one trip around the vehicle. Fully Integrated Alignment links the aligner and rack for up to 60 percent faster alignments.
Laser-guided target placement
Gimbal-mounted lasers replace strings and tape measures, adjust for uneven floors and confirm every placement before the calibration runs.
The balancer that keeps working
WalkAway™ inflation releases the chuck and starts the balance spin automatically, so the tech is already on the next tire.
Cut on the car, without chatter
Anti-Chatter Technology varies spindle speed so vibration never builds, for a smoother finish.

Side by side
Which setup fits your ADAS plans
The biggest decision in a Hunter bay is when static ADAS calibration comes in. Here is how the options line up.

Common questions
Before you buy Hunter
Can I start with alignment and add ADAS later?
Yes. The HawkEye Elite® X keeps its camera sensors, console and ADASLink® scan tool, and upgrades to Ultimate ADAS® with a calibration fixture package: target rail and boards, laser gimbals, remote floor stand and target storage.
What is the difference between static and dynamic calibration?
Dynamic calibrations are done with a scan tool and a test drive, with no fixtures. Static calibrations need targets placed precisely around the vehicle in the bay, which is what Ultimate ADAS® and DAS 3000 are built for.
Is Ultimate ADAS OEM approved?
Yes. It is approved by Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Nissan, Infiniti, Subaru, Kia and Rivian, with coverage for more than 90 percent of vehicles in operation.
What does Road Force do that a regular balancer does not?
A standard balancer only finds imbalance. Road Force® also measures tire uniformity, runout and mounting errors, which is why it solves vibration complaints a balance alone cannot fix.
How much room does an ADAS calibration bay need?
It depends on the vehicles and procedures you plan to run. We measure the bay at the site visit before quoting rather than guessing from a phone call.
What is the warranty on Hunter equipment?
Hunter warrants new equipment replacement parts for three years and labor for six months.
